ChunJiDo
Universal Way to Enlightenment
ChunJiDo is a unique collaboration of three arts: Kempo, Jujitsu and Taekwondo. The
philosophy of ChunJiDo incorporates the most useful techniques of each of these traditional arts
to comprise a system that instills the honor and integrity of traditional arts, with the
confidence of reality defense in its practitioners. Recognized across the United States and in
Europe, ChunJiDo is a growing art that provides opportunity for all ages to practice and enjoy
the Martial Arts.
Kempo is a system of Karate that utilizes strong hand techniques with multiple strikes
to vital areas. Its origin is believed to have developed from the Shaolin temples in China and
was commonly referred to as "Chinese Hand."
Jujitsu is a Japanese Art known as the "Gentle Art." Jujitsu is comprised of joint
locks and throwing techniques for close quarter self-defense, and even though it is a very ancient
art it is still known as one of the most effective self-defense systems in Martial Arts.
Taekwondo, which translates as "The Way of the Hand and Foot," is a fairly modern Korean
Martial Art that is comprised of powerful hand techniques with dynamic kicks. Taekwondo promotes
excellent conditioning and flexibility.
